2007 CommUNITY Litearcy Program

Thanks to partnerships with both the Salvation Army- Southern California and Ocean Front Books.com we are able to provide a better literacy program to the community. Instead of reading the same book over and over during literacy programs, we are now able to choose from amongst several genres of books. In addition, new hardcover books were donated to provide the foundation an avenue to reach the general public. It is our primary mission to provide academic scholarships to working poor families, and that requires funding. During these economic challenging times, everyone is not able to give a donation, but many can buy a book, and encourage a child to read. All proceeds benefit our scholarship and mentorship programs.
